1/2 Day in Skipton

Hi folks
Well after about 6 months of owning my D3 I finally got my local dealer to stump up for a free half day LR experience thingy (well after a few issues with the vehicle and plenty of moaning)

Cant wait to go and play in somebody elses car to see what it can reeeaaallly do.

Can anybody tell me what I should expect or give me any tips on the best way to get the most of my limited time

Cheers

Best thing to do Mike is pay the extra and upgrade it it a full day Level 1, well worth the £70 or so
You should expect to have a great time Very Happy

If they say "We'll go out on the road first", say you'd prefer the mud as you already have a D3 & know what it's like on the black stuff. Other than that learn & enjoy!

Is it Conniston Hall, Mike? If so, you'll love it. I did my 1/2 day there (apparently they've stopped giving this away at Hillendale?), wish I'd paid extra for the full day, but it was still fantastic - you won't believe what you can do in a D3!!!

That said, if you want max time in the car then do the road drive. Your instructor should show you a few usefull things. Offroad only and you will half your time behind the wheel.

But as has been said, try and pay the extra for an upgrade to level 1, you really wont be dissapointed.

As stated already make sure you upgrade to the full Level 1 day, then if you can manage to wait, book you day as near to Xmas Day as possible, I did a couple of years ago and had the car all to myself all day!!

cheers for that folks,

I have already asked if I could upgrade to a full day, I was told I cannot do this with the free 1/2 day - might try to do it on the day.

I'm really looking forward to it and can't wait - I will let you know how it goes

Cheers folks
