My new vehicle came with 1 key.......
i think they call it the smart key, i definitely need another one
would i need to go to the dealer

I'd speak to the place you bought the D4 from yes. There's potentially another key out there with the ability to open doors and start the ignition...

As well as the fact that there is possibly another key out there that is coded to your car a spare key from Land Rover is expensive and then you need it coded to your car. One of the site sponsors will be cheaper for coding it than the main dealer  Cheers Ian
