If using a charger or battery didn’t work, it may not be battery related despite your low readings. I’ve had my car unlock on voltages that low before.

There’s no way you could have mixed up keys with another LR product? I once wound up a mates wife by swapping my RRS key for their Discovery sport key. I’ve never heard a woman curse so much. 012MY RRS 5.0 Supercharged Autobiography (Current)

correct me if i am wrong but the battery in the key fob charges off the disco ?

Have you got a spare key to try @Breezy ?
What voltage do you have at the tow port now you have charged the car battery ? Did it charge ?
I had this exact issue a while ago and connected a new battery directly to the tow port and it opened.
