From a South African point of view I'd like to know your opinions regarding the best options available replacing the 18" factory fitted Wranglers. On-road biased tyres, low noise, comfort and good grip as main priorities. Off-road suitability, fuel consumption = secondary.

Thank you!

Michelin Latitude or Kumho KL51 as your no. 1 choice for road but General AT2 or Pirelli ATR would be my choice for an all round tyre, very little noise.

Andy. Thumbs Up

Also look at BFG Rugged Trail for road biased use

Recently gone to General AT2 on 18" and have had no problems what so ever. I do run them at 2 psi more than the Pirelli scorpions though.

I got AT2's on they are very good Thumbs Up

On 18's in OEM size, there ain't that much choice at the end of the day.

If you want to go non OEM, then you pays your money and takes your chances.

NO complaints, A tiny little bit more road noise on some surfaces and mayby only maybe a little less traction on slippery tarmak sometimes. Plus point is at least £100 a set cheaper and will last 33% longer. They dont look half bad either.
