18" wheels from s going on v8

Will all discovery 3 18" wheels fit the v8 hse with the larger brakes?
Does anyone know exactly what type were fitted if 18" was taken as an option?

Yes, 18”ers will fit a V8 D3, unless the brakes have been upgraded to Bremo or D4 brakes.

I'm going to guess it was the 10 spoke 18" wheel, as they were fitted to a local 2005 D3 V8 SE from new. The D3 V8 HSE came with 19" rims as standard fit.

DSL is correct about brake sizes and rim sizes Thumbs Up 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE
2010 D4 HSE (A bit bling)-GONE
2014 D4 HSE (Almost too bling)-GONE
2015 D4 HSE (A heated what?)-GONE
2016 D4 Landmark (Written Off)-GONE
2016 D4 Landmark (Surely the last!) PD1881 rims-GONE

I would just like to be certain. My plan is to buy some rims when I am in the UK and take them overseas in my suitcase... Would be good if they fit when they arrive!

If you have either the standard TDV6 or V8 brakes from the D3, any of the D3 18" rim styles will fit. Honest!

You'll need a Censored big suitcase Shocked 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE
2010 D4 HSE (A bit bling)-GONE
2014 D4 HSE (Almost too bling)-GONE
2015 D4 HSE (A heated what?)-GONE
2016 D4 Landmark (Written Off)-GONE
2016 D4 Landmark (Surely the last!) PD1881 rims-GONE
