RRS alloys are OK, but check tyre spec as 275/40's are 1) a tad small - 275/45x20 is better, and 2) check wieght rating - for a D4 you need 109 or above, 275/40's are likely to be 107 or lower.

standard 20" tyres on a D4 are 255/50x20's but these are on 8.5" wide rims, whereas the RRS usually runs 9.5" wide, so 255 might be a bit too skinny - 275/45x20's are OK, as are 265/50x20's. Some folks run 285's.

If it were me I'd look for some 275/45x20's. A set of Wintracs here on fleebay:

Hope that helps.

I’m possibly looking at a set of “Style 9” RRS 20” 9.5J wheels, the offset is 53mm, it’s unclear though what the offset is my standard XS 19's? - is it likely that I will have any issues regarding this?

Thanks for the above advice regarding tyre sizes, ‘my’ wheels are advertised with new 275/40/20 tyres to be fitted but like you said a quick check on a tyre calculator site said that a 275/45/20 tyre would be almost identical radius to my standard 19’s therefore I will ask for 45’s rather than 40’s. Plus they’re 110 rather than 106 on the 40’s!

275x45x21 are a standard fit on some MY15 RR, what are the pros and cons of fitting wider tyres than standard 255x55x19 tyres?
My experience is wider tyres are more likely to aquaplane than narrow tyres.

274/45 x 20 rated at 110 ( min 109 on D4) is your best choice from those, not the 275/40 x 20s
