Hi guys this is actually my D3, the wheels are powder coated black then wet sprayed silver with a final coat of clear powder coat over the top. They were done by the wheel specialist in Cwmbran, I buy thousand of meters of aluminium monthy and can tell you the job is first class. I was trying to replicate the original D1 series wheels which were are very similar in appearance.
Could not resist taking pics - did not get too close given the livestock you had in the boot

I have 2 tone rims regulary too, but the other way around black on the tyre side and silver in the middle.
I starts about a 1000km after I wash my D3. Roel
