New switch then Wink

There’s probably also a control module that controls the run time of the window. But if you got a new switch panel & this module it could be very possible to “upgrade” to one touch on both front windows.

Which would be very nice indeed….. 8)

Time will tell I guess.

Does the new manual show a new clock in the main dash (i.e. with speedo etc)?

No, no new clock in dash. Found a couple of very minor things though. Th indicators now have a lane change facility i.e. press the indicator lever (I trust everybody knows where that is Wink ) up or down briefly and the indicators will flash 3 times. Also the climate control air recirculation system now has a 'pollution sensor' fitted (can detect a greenie at 500 metres maybe Question )

spoke to my dealer this morning & he reckons that the 2007 model doesn't arrive until November, although he is trying to find out for sure.

As mine is due to arrive at the beginning of October it might be worth waiting another few weeks to get the extra features....

Does anybody now if there's extra price to go with the extra features? I know they moved the bar higher 04/05 to 05/06, and given the success of nthe D3, well it would be rude of LR HQ not too. Crying or Very sad

Tried that on BMW 1s, 3s & 5s I was trying out before the D3, it was horrible. Took far too much thought to work out. Shouldn't be an issue around here, most S Wales drivers don't use them anyway!

Had the three flash thing on my Audi - worked very well and was handy.

It's better than the awful indicators on the Vectra - I saw a guy the other day driving away from a junction who took 8 attempts to cancel his indicators - they were flashing first one way, then the other....

Had one of those a few months ago as a hire car . Just couldn't get one with the indicators at all. What's wrong with a lever that stays up when you push it up and vice-versa.

Bloody self-centering lever! Evil or Very Mad Took ages to work out that if you pressed up or down briefly, the indicators flashed 3 times. If you pressed up or down for a few seconds, the indicators come on and stayed on until cancelled by turning the wheel.

FYI: In the 2006 manual (at least here), they also show the dual A/V sockets... but it was a mistake. (The picture is for the "real" integrated dual screen RSE system in the Range Rover Sport.)

In case anyone is interested, I spoke to my dealer today & apparently the 2007 cars are due to start coming through on the 24th November.

..and they think that the TV is going to be a £1000 option. Having had it in an old BMW, I have to say it is useful sometimes, but certainly not worth a grand, and definitely not worth waiting a couple of months for.

That compares quite well to the only present alternative, the Nav-TV option. £795, and you still need to add a TV modulator and diversity antennas, which shoves the non-oem price up. Shocked

Agree though, lot of dosh. Crying or Very sad

The date is interesting as I got my 06MY at the end of Sept 05. Why the delay this year?

I have just spoken with my dealer who is dealing with the replacement of my current car. All cars ordered now are 07 MY with production starting in the 4th week of September. These will be delivered in October.

The price has been increased as Land Rover are charging the customer to offset the Co2 emissions for the first 3 years of the cars life. I think this is about £145 or somewhere near.

He says that he engine is a bit 'leaner" and the tv option is £500.

He also said that FFRR TDV8 production starts soon with the first ones on the road in January and he expect RR Sport to come soon after. However he did say that although a lot of people as speculating about a D3 TDV8, they have been told that it's a no by LR as they want the Range Rovers to have something that D3 doesn't. FFRR is losing sales to D3 HSE and LR want to try and kerb this.

There is a clock near the speedo on the trip, only in 24 hours (page 115)
