Can't say I've ever put it in neutral at lights, just leave it in D or S with foot on brake, that is surely the advantage of an auto in that you don't need to sit with a foot on the clutch or knock it into neutral?

I was told that for economy reasons the new rotary controlled gearbox actually goes into neutral on its own when you are stopped with your foot on the brakes, so there is no need to select neutral at the lights (apart from safety of course!)

While fixed in gears using paddle shift, does anyone notice jerkiness from the engine when you try to hold a constant throttle, especially around 2k rpm.

Don't think this is true tbh. On my MY12 D4 if you leave it in drive it'll still creep when you take your foot off the brake.

Micky the difference between my MY2011(6 speed) and MY2012 (8 speed) is I would say too close to call, though I like to think the new one is faster Laughing
