I had to turn then on, but others say they do don't have to.

oh sh*t and then I may have to show up at my LR stealership and ask him to amend the ECU module ? At least I have a contract that the car was sold with HSE spec heated seats when it wasnt

Actually as I have a signed purchase contract with the car as a HSE having heated seats, I somehow doubt legally and in reality that will be an issue

So here is my new GBP 40 Ebay HVAC installed, must say amazing value, thanks for all the help guys & thanks to the Powerful UK you tube vids on how to disassemble everything
Everything works perfectly except the heated seats so fingers crossed with a visit to the stealership on the cards next week

Philip1972 et al, I spent 50 mins down at my official LR stealership today and the mechanic said he couldnt get the right ECU setting configuration, although he believes its just a case of sorting the software and will ask LR factory in UK. Is it really that complicated ? meanwhile no heated seats just yet
