These 20's OK for D3 - what do you think of Replicas?
Thinking of some 20's for the spring/summer - seen these. Wife likes the Black Stormers (as car is Black) and must admit that they will probably look better than regular "Stormers" - they are clealry replicas - what do you think of them??..ok on a D3? I would upgrade tyres to CONTI'S or something - whats best size for D3 - and what load rating (most seem to offer 106's - is that enough??)

Wheels do not look as good as genuine ones IMHO
+ The tyres would need changing to 111 or higher, 106 is too low for the D3
Some guys on here seem to be able to get hold of genuine stormers, they may be along later with more information.

that ebay trader (wheelbase) is/was doing 295/45x20 Conti's weight rated at 114 for £419 for a set of 4. So, provided the wheels are rated at 900kg, and have 53mm offset, you should be alright. See if you can do a deal with hime.

These aren't Black Stormers, they are the Diamond Stormers.

Cheers - do Land Rover themsleves make "Diamond Stormers" and "Black Stormers"?? or just sfatermarket suppliers?
LR only do them in silver.
If you can get a set of originals for around 1k as you mention, I'd bite their hand off.
Just make sure they are originals.
Just cos a dealers selling them doesn't guarantee they're original.
90BHP's seem a decent price and they are original.
I've got aftermarkets, been running them for over 60k.
I off-road with them and have had no issues.
To me, they are one of the better copies.
Just be aware of the cheap Chinese imports.I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.

be carefull with those diamond stormers.
The shiny bits are only protected by clearcoat, one chip and corrosion starts to creep between the clearcoat and the aluminum.

I've seen those on a black D3 and thought they looked too puff daddy pimp to me... But each to their own.
Sorry know this is an old thread, but this is the first time I have known anything to be too black for Bodsy's D3?
Some sort of Disco3 first there surely?!

Ordered myself some replica stormers from wheelbase today, up graded the tyres to general grabber's as was a bit worried about the tyres in the package only being rated at 106. £899 inc del & vat, quite a good price i think?
