210cm sleeping bag. Recommendations please.

Before searching the net for hours, I thought I'd ask here first for any recommendations.

I'm 6ft7" tall and need a sleeping bag for a camping trip to drive the Strata Florida and surrounding lanes at the end of September. So hopefully it shouldn't be too cold.

I don't want to spend too much (£100 or less) as I can't remember the last time I slept in a sleeping bag. But I really haven't got a clue about this subject, other than I suppose I need a bag that's at least 205cm or even 210cm long.

Any help/tips/advise as to where to buy etc. greatly appreciated Thumbs Up

Haven't used one personally but a mate of mine swears by Snugpak bags and some of theirs are 220cm.

LT,

I'm 6'4" and use a sleeping bag lots. I can thoroughly recommend macpac. Lots of sizes to choose from and available through Cotswold camping. Some of their bags can also be zipped together if you're not after an exped type of bag, so they're great for family camping also.

Follow the sizing guide on this link to help you see what you need.

I'm 6.4, and got my large sleeping bag from GO Outdoors. Its what I'll call a normal (oblong) bag, not one of the shaped ones. I think its an Outwell one at 220cm. I think I paid about 39quid.

just bought two of these as was fed up with the 'normal' double size bags always being too cold. Two of these zipped together are great.

Individually sized XL they're great for the longer or errr more 'chunky' sleepers Laughing Thumbs Up

Not expensive at all and if youre only just getting back into camping etc, then ideal. Also at 230cm, plenty of space even for you! Whistle

Gelert sleeping pod XL, I've got one...not because of the tall or bulk, more that I move around so much that normal sleeping bags are damn uncomfy Smile

Look at some carp fishing sleeping bags such as Nash, JRC and Trakker. A lot of sleeping bag for your money.

Thanks to you all for the very useful replies. Thumbs Up

I remembered that the last time I used a sleeping bag was back in 1993. So taking that and the fact that I only need one for a single night into consideration, I'm thinking that the £34.99 bag that Bodsy recommends would be a sensible option. There's a Mountain Warehouse shop in Bristol, I'll go there this week and try it for size.

If I get the camping bug, I can always upgrade if needed.
