3rd year service.
Just had my 2013 Disco 4 XS serviced, it's only done 20k, just checked the paperwork and the Internet, no mention of changing the engine air filter but it does say a new pollen filter was fitted. Any thoughts???

You need a new air filter, it's only a few screws and you can have a quick look.

Air filter is every 32k on the 3.0, so wouldn't have been done at its 3rd year service My D3 Build Thread

For over £400 I got a new oil and oil filter, a new pollen filter and brake fluid, thought the air filter was a standard service item, should I really have to or need to buy this outside of a main dealer service???

Main dealers go by the book.
Had you asked for the air filter in addition, this would have been charged extra
Just one of the many reasons why people are much happier using their local Indy specialist My D3 Build Thread
