My question is: Which should I buy? Instinctively I want to blank at TB and EGR valve and retain pipes. Is this possible?
Thanks,
Andy

Yes, absolutely possible.
Standard (thin) blanking plate at the EGR end, and a ball bearing from a broken CV joint in the joint at the butterfly end.
Don't forget to remove the butterfly blade, but retain the shaft and drive.Richard

Go with number 3, you slide the plate in with the metal shim gasket on the EGR side.

Option 3, easiest route and most discrete. As above, don’t forget to remove the butterfly valve or you’ll risk choking the engine.2008 HSE Stornoway Grey
