45K Service
Hi, does anyone know what I should pay for the 3rd Service (45K), I have only done 23K, but I guess that does not make any difference
I got a quote for £366 from a local dealer, is that typical or should I shop around a bit more?Bonatti Grey HSE 2.7TDV6

I *think* the brake fluid needs to be replaced at 45K (pretty sure mine was). Make sure that the price you are quoted includes this (which is should be!), otherwise you'll get your original quote + fluid replacement when picking it up!
Mine was the low £300 for the service, including brake fluid.

Ended up paying £309 for mine, but it did not include the Brake Fluid change. They told me about this when I picked up the car, saying that they would do this when they replaced the front and rear pads in a 2000 miles time !! Obviously they are asuming that I will get them to do it Bonatti Grey HSE 2.7TDV6
Got a quote the other day from Les Potts 4 Wheel Drive in Sunderland for £273.95. They're not a franchised dealer but they are fully Land Rover accredited. Not got one from the dealer yet but I've no doubt they'll price match! Now an ex-D3 owner after 7 happy years. Miss the car but not the big bills

Sounds like a sneaky way (though I guess there's some logic to it) of charging you extra for the fluid replacement - which should have been included in the price!
