You have to admire the Lady's stoicism though. Maybe the shock will hit her later but she stood up pretty well to all that.

Ok questions for you:
If the car had been a Vauxhall Corsa, would the BBC have reported it as small city car crashes into bungalow?
If the car had been a Ford Mondeo, would the BBC have reported it as family saloon car crashes into bungalow?
I think the answer to these would be No.
So why report it as four by four crashes into bungalow? Make me D3 HSE MY05 Auto

I wouldn't worry too much TBH...it's a generic term like van, lorry, truck, caravan, rampant antelope, motorhome, supercar etc etc.
Besides it's one of the few things they are actually correct about 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

No it's the site, it seems to be quite slow and I think it isn't going to post my comment so I have been impatient and hit the submit button again and it's double posted, but you can see the time it took as you were able to write your reply inbetween my two button hits. D3 HSE MY05 Auto

He's looking up bits of Charlotte Church gossip for DG no doubt
Anyway, a mate of mine crashed his Vauxhall Victor into the gable end of a house in Cobham, circa 1984.
Car was a bit mashed and the house had a flipping great crack down it.
I just remembered this!
Happy days Welcome "Lola"

"4x4" is mildly irritating... what would they have happened if it was an XC70 or All Road?
However, maybe they can be forgiven because it was a pickup, and maybe some use 4x4 as a vehicle classification (van, lorry, car, 4x4 etc). 2020 SDV6 D5 HSE, Carpathian Grey +

Slightly OT but I have never understood why anyone, given the choice, would live so close to a main road?? The constant noise would drive me up the wall! 2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto
