| 7 year belts service - price check |
|
The 7 year belts service is due soon and wanted a quick sanity check from the experienced bunch on here. I have been quoted £1400 from a main dealer and (my preferred option) £780 from a well recommended indie. Both incl VAT. Sound about right? MY2012 D4 HSE Nara Bronze with some extra stuff

Mine are due in Dec and I checked before i bought the car.
Local Indie was £600 + VAT for both belts so on a par.

Yep, £700 - 800 sounds right for indie or one of the highly skilled gentlemen on here who offer this service one weekend every 6 months or so.
I paid somewhere in between that for cam belt, fuel belt, water pump, oil pump and crankshaft seal.

Broadfields Land Rover near Dunmow did my D4 belts and service, if I remember correctly it was around £600 although I can't remember whether that was including VAT or ex VAT. They were recommended to me by a friend and I found them to be knowledgeable and efficient. Stu

All are good prices,
Mine was done early this year (at 105,000) Main Dealer was £1600+VAT..
I went with a Local Indy (DLS in Derbyshire) and it was £850 all in..
