| 8 day Pyrenees trip , what to take ??ferry now booked :-) |

Well in the next few months me and my 2 mates are of in my D3 for a boys week away :thumbsup:start Santander , across the Pyrenees then down south to my friend place he's got 30 acres in the south , Almeria area , then up over Granada to Bilbao and home   is there a sort of list of parts pos needed for this sort of trip , I thought may be we can get a list together on here , for future trips , just a guild line if you know what I mean  Stew .
And other useful thing needed -------------------------------------------------
if you cant hold on dont let go , it ill come in handy for something even if you never use it.

sounds like a good trip if you plan to do lots of off roading then a phew spare tires could be a start

Local tipple there. Poured from a great height into a large glass so it is aereated.

I was in that shed today, it's still there safe & sound.
I reckon you'll easily get a weeks cider & pasties up there Long succession of Disco's since 2001...

I suppose it depends how capable a mechanic you are.
I'd take oil, coolant, screenwash, water, full set of filters. Spare bulbs. Tyre repair kit. Compressor. Fuses. Decent tow rope.
Break light switch is a common fault and a cheap 'spare'.
Might be tempted to take a spare wheel bearing between the three of you.
Could you get a compressor?
Spare wheel nuts
Maybe ask local garage if you could take some bits 'use or return'. Our local garage can get stuff rom their suppliers for a short time and return it.
Get a Haynes manual - pictures not as clear as on here, but no dependant on internet connection.
It's a Landrover so - big hammer.
Diagnostics?

There is a LR dealer in Almeria should you need anything. They are on Carretera de Granada (Granada Road) nr the Hospital On a mission to find the perfect Pork Pie. Just Found it (I think)..(Yes I have)
