If you change the oil by the normal method early enough you can avoid the need for a megaflush. The ability to flush the 8-speed is needed by those who have hit 70k or more without any gearbox servicing.

Robbie, is this rues good also for the 6 speed?

I changed the oil and installed the metal pan with separate filter (not flush) at 83000km (52000mls).

never towing! (no trailer Shocked )
