90K service inc belts (bit like a 105K service)

Ive been ringing/emailing around for quotes on a 90K service inc Belts and i'm getting some massive differences when compared to a 105K service. When I say massive I mean MASSIVE !!! (£500 difference)

the only difference I can tell (excl belts) between a 90K and a 105K is the renewal of the fuel filter and the air cleaner element. so that cant account for the difference

my regular dealer is quoting to do a 90K service and replace all the belts (front and rear of engine) but other dealers just say "inaccordance with maintenance schedule" and are coming in at just over half the price.

All their other service charges from local dealer are very competitive so i think they are genuine.

does this mean the other dealers I have spoken to are not replacing the Aux belt at back of engine, or not completing the full service Confused

I have spoken to local dealer and questioned them, but they cant see how anyone can do the job for half the price. Even if they do a standard 105k service its not a lot cheaper

Has anyone had a 105K service done, how much did it cost and do you know exactly what was done for that price.

Duncan,

I had my 105K service done at the end of last year. Mine was around 400 notes for the labour from the local LR dealer after I had bought all the parts from TLC. This did include doing the rear belt which the dealer said was not generally included in the 105K service quote.

Had my 105k done last June.
Cost [price matched to Yeovil] was £580 all incl. I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.
