If you want a winter rated all terrain tyre then you're basically looking at the AT3. Visiting from rrsport.co.uk
2012 RRS SDV6
2008 RRS TDV8
"When you fire that first shot, no matter how right you feel, you have no idea who's going to die! You don't know who's children are going to scream and burn. How many hearts will be broken. How many lives shattered. How much blood will spill, until everybody does what they were always going to have to do from the very beginning: SIT DOWN AND TALK!"

Have you looked at Goodyear Duratracs? First saw these in use on a mates Izuzu truck when I was running Goodyear MTR's on my 110. They did everything MTR's did but just didn't look as aggressive but their performance won my vote.
I've run BFG AT's and when I changed to my D3 I looked at the alternatives and came to the same conclusion...I opted for Duratracs and ordered 255/75/19's over Zeons or General Grabbers.
IMHO the Duractrac is outstanding and I'm returning 28mpg on the road, 30 on Mways. Don't be put off that theyr'e supposedly a mud tyre, theyre just an aggressive all terrain. In the States they run nothing less on D3's and D4's.
Goodyear Duratracs are an excellent all round tyre...

What's the best price people are finding for GG AT3's?
I seem to have taken 10mm off my Duratracs in 4 overland trips along with tearing the sidewall on two on a deep pothole and with a couple of laning weekends looming, I need to replace them.

Tried two Hi Q branches, even speaking to the managers and they wouldn't go below £145 fitted. which branch did you use out of interest?

After running the Coopers for two weeks with a little bit of mild off piste use i''m not as impressed with them compared to Duratracs which just felt a little bit more assured. They certainly don't give the same kind of wet/damp road confidence. Paul.

I've got the LTZ's on my disco and have to say I think they are fantastic. I was always a bfgoodrich at fan but couldn't get them in 19" so went for the LTZ's after recommendation by a fiend who has them on his D4 commercial and swears by them. Jarrod
