Aaaaarrrrrgh!!!! Cooper LTZ or New Grabber AT3
Honestly I just cannot decide which to go for. Having made my mind up on Coopers the new AT3 becomes available.
The only thing putting me off the AT3 is the lack of views and reviews but I've seen claims from tests of 55000 miles and 3 mil left......AND they have a snowflake.
So quick straw poll if people can tear themselves away from the footy....which would you go for?
Cheers

Do they do these in 265/65/18's as have a set of wheels that need a refurb and shoddding.

I think the clue is in the AT as they cover all terrain,
If you want quieter tyres get road biased ones

OK .....
but...But I still think that the clue of these tires seem antiquated ... it reminds me of the GY WRANGLER AT that I already had in my NISSAN PATROL in the year 85...Im sorrylost in translation!
I've just pulled the trigger on Cooper LTZ's in 19's, fitted when wheels ready. Looking forward to seeing how they compare to Duratracs.
I wasn't overly impressed with previous Grabbers, that & vs an established tyre with great reviews/feedback by a few on here swayed my decision.Paul.

Only my opinion but,
I personally think any AT tyre is great to start with,
Then as it wears it
Gets noisier, and harder so less road grip.
People who are used to road tyres shouldn't use AT tyres then moan about the noise etc
Before I get shot down in flames
Read the first line again

I was faced with exactly the same choice this week and plumped for the Coopers which were fitted yesterday. I was swayed in the end by some good reviews on line and a glowing recommendation from my local tyre place. So far I can confirm that they look the dogs what's it's and for the first 130 miles they've been great. Road noise is fine although I have read reviews that say it will get worse as they wear. Dry road handling is good and I've not been able to test anything else yet!

I have Grabber AT at the moment and they, as expected, have got noisier as they have worn. When they are due to be replaced next year sometime, I shall be interested in the AT3. Might even go for a set of ATR for summer and a set of AT3 for winter/playing.Visiting from rrsport.co.uk
