I was looking at similiar sets the other day from Trux £82.25.
Had the same thoughts also, not full length of roof, so what to do with the wire.

Funny looking Land Rover they are on, best left on smaller 4x4's, I think they would look lost on a Discovery - unless you got 2 8)

Regards wiring i think you would need to come dow the drivers side Piller trim (outside) then under bonnet and in through with other wiring - i will check messurements to see how it would atually sit on the top and wether it would look lost..
