Activating cruise control with Faultmate

Hi there,
I fitted the cruise control keys into the wheel and now I try to activate the CC with my Faultmate.
I changed cruise control configuration under intrument pack / power train from no speed control fitted to speed control fitted but the CC doesn´t seem to work.
Am I missing something?

Thnaks for any help Mr. Green ,
Marc

Are you using Vehicle Explorer 1.27b? Are you sure you plugged the buttons in?

I've just checked my CCF data and it is set to "Speed Control is Fitted" in the "Cruise Control Configuration" part of the Power Train section.

After you write the CCF data back to the car, can you read it again? Is the Cruise Control correctly set?

Thumbs Up

Hi Paul,

Yes it´s 1.27b and yes the buttons are in properly.
I read the CCF file again and it says cruise control fitted.
Is there any other config that needs to be changed?
And is there a minimum speed for the cruise control? I just tried it at slow speeds yet.
In the miscellaneous and unused section there is "jaguar cruise control" which can also be set to speed control fitted. Does that help?
Anyone retrofitted CC with the Faultmate yet?

Thanks,
Marc

It will only work over 30km/h Thumbs Up

Sorry for asking if you had them plugged in, but I've done worse than this so it was worth double-checking.

In the "Miscellaneous and Unused", my parameter for "Jaguar Cruise Control" is set to "Undefined".

Mine came from the factory with Cruise Control, but I've successfully disabled it and re-enabled it with the Faultmate and not had any problems.

Try going a bit faster Thumbs Up

unless someone parks another landy or truck in your space, just park on top of whatever is there.

Actually, you can use the cruise control buttons to either increase or decrease your speed when Hill Descent Control (HDC) is operating

other way to test at low speed, find hill and turn on hill descent control then use the cruise to control the speed of the abs.

totally saved my a55 in the snow and ice in Jan coming down fish hill.
