Active Rear Diff

Picked up my new Disco 4 today

I ordered Active rear diff and I presume it has been fitted.

Is there anywhere is the settings that will confirm this.

look at the rear diff, it shoudl have a Motor connected above it. if it's not there, they haven't fited it.

Or you could get a nice bit of hilly mug and drive it up whilst looking at your 4x4 info screen to see if it locks up. Thumbs Up Bodsys Brake Bible

put it into rock crawl, low ratio and 1st gear - the rear lock on the 4x4 screen should go RED Duncan

12MY will only have the padlock symbol on the 4x4 screeen if the rear diff lock is fitted.

It also seems that it will show you the level of lock up - 3 sections round the outside. Gone: 2010MY 59 plate Bali Blue HSE.
Also gone : 2012MY 12 plate Firenze Red HSE.
In Bits : 2005 55plate 4.0 V8 Ibex 250s SW.
