not from those pics - need to see product code on the unit. Cornering lamps on these is on very discreet LEDs

Ok thanks, iv asked for pic off stickers, I have the same lights on my 2014 d4 but they are not adaptive and I haven’t got the modules on the bottom. I thought if they had the modules they were adaptive & cornering.2015MY discovery 4 se tech with factory black pack.

All the slots in the power input socket need to be occupied with a pin for them to be adaptive cornering, the diagram in the previous post is for cornering only, all adaptive have cornering but not all cornering have adaptive, as stated previously it will also say adaptive on the label, albeit in small print. Adaaptive will need the wiring and module installed for them to work and CCF edit, cornering will work with only a CCF edit.
p.s. I have retro fitted cornering to mine It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

I don’t think they have even got cornering could be wrong, a close up photo of the socket would confirm.

I am keen to do this! Do you mind letting me know where you managed to find some cornering units and how much you paid? I am not worried about adaptive. Although my last 3 cars had this, I do not fancy adding wires and modules!

AFAIK "ABL" on the head light part code means adaptive? But i'm happy to be corrected if this isn't the case...

Mjom89:
Remove the lamp from the car, remove the rear outside sliding bracket, you will see a blanked off ring where the LED should fit, drill it out (pilot hole first) with a hot drill to prevent plastic getting inside the lamp, push an H1 LED bulb in the hole held in place with a spot of epoxy resin glue, run a wire from the red supply wire on the socket, enable in CCF and voila you have cornering lights It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Thanks for that M3DPO - is that what you did to yours? I have already completed one of those steps... I enabled it in the CCF just in case
I need something to do next so I might pull them out at the weekend and have a go!

Yep, last winter and still working good, you will need to solder an earth wire to the bulb if using an H1 like I did, do not go for the high power LEDs or halogen as they may get to hot, your choice. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
