Adding additional lights
Finding a good access point for accessory wiring was troubling me, I tried piggy back fuses which made the fuse board messy and I did not want to cut & splice an existing wire but I eventually found a solution :-
The driver’s side A pillar has a connector block which contains a green / white wire that feeds the interior lights. Once apart the connector has a red lock plate which can be unpicked.
Then by sliding a paperclip or a special connector pick behind the wire the wire will come out
First idea was to solder the second wire on top of the first but this did not work as it interfered with the connector latching mechanism so after hours of searching and false leads I found a supplier for the OEM connectors which meant I could crimp two wires into one connector giving me a feed to a set of LED lights operated by a switch mounted in the interior light panel
The result is extra lights powered from the standard fuse board without lots of messy wiring

The socket (receptacle) used for the green white permanent live came from InCar Tec part Number 81-610 but I had to buy 50 off.
Just for reference the larger socket (receptacle) in the same connector is Molex MX150 part number 33012-3021 and its mating pin (blade) is Molex MX150 part number 33000-0001
