Curious to know if the above can be done. Do I just need to buy a tv tuner and it’s pug and play? Or is there more involved?

Do you mean OEM tuner or aftermarket tuner? Both can be done, one simpler than the other.

Oem you need tuner, bracket, 4 x aerial amps, correct cables, most cable and then activating in the ccf.

What about adding an aftermarket tuner? is it hard to do?
