Mine has the superpro poly bushes. On arms supplied by AF.
They are rather firm, spoil the ride. I will go back to genuine items when they need replacement. Discovery commercial tdv6 auto 2013

If so what are your thoughts on them please? I tried them but the ride was too harsh for my taste so swapped off later.

I have a coil spring D3 and have fitted Proflex urethane bushes to front and rear arms, for last three years, have had no squeaks, or issues, tracks very well goes round bends with minimal lean very happy with them, prior to fitting them I bought new arms with new bushes fitted, when i bought the truck as they where worn, however they gave problems with my MOT tester in year two.

I suppose it depends on what you want to use your car for. I used to run standard bushes, but having used the car off road extensively, I was having to redo the bushes quite often. If like me, your car is solely for over land expeditions, and you have a fully laden D3, with a lift and STT Pro tyres, then having SuperPro bushes is a real help, as they do last longer. I had the orange Polybushes on, and found they were so stiff, the suspension struggled to go up and down. The SuperPro is a superior design.
But if you will use your car on the road, and are looking to not upset the silky ride, and run normal tyres, then stick with the standard bushes.

It’s all been covered above but for what’s it’s worth, I have the AF poly lowers on my sport and it does make the rider harsher but in my case it also makes everything firmer. With having the 5.0SC engine I did find the standard bushes were a little week for the performance of the car. What I have now is a harsh ride but it corners on rails (not Focus ST cornering though) and I also find it less wobbly on uneven roads.
Would I recommend them? Yes if as above, you’re off-roading or need a firmer ride. No if you’re pottering around at a leisurely pace. 012MY RRS 5.0 Supercharged Autobiography (Current)
