Affixing Reg Plate to Polyurethane Nudge Bar

Hi all,
I've just put my spanking-new nudge bar (thank you, TLO) onto the front of the vehicle, and have ham-handedly used the license plate podium and self-threading screws that came with the vehicle to affix the license plate. (I'd post a photo, but I'm getting a database query error.)

This leaves a gap between the bottom part of the podium and the nudge bar, I don't think this looks like a permanent fit, and the slightest bit of resistance looks like it could rip off or at the very least get pulled out slightly and take some of the polyurethane with it. Any suggestions for something more permanent? What have others done?

As usual, thanks in advance for any suggestions...

cheers,
James

You could buy a number plate holder. Think the part number is something like DRB000111PCL (Don't take my word for the part number Embarassed ). Pm TLO for a price and the correct part number.
If it ain't got 4 wheels, Don't Bother.

Thanks for the hints and tips... Thumbs Up

I ended up losing it anyway today at Hogmoor Big Cry . Bought a new one, and No More Nails tape seems to be doing the job on the new plate...

Embarassed Embarassed Embarassed

When I called SWMBO on my way home to explain:

Her: "I thought you said you were going to take it off before you started!!!"

Me: "I thought it would be all right."

Famous last words...
