Could my air suspension be softer than others?

Hi all,

This may be a dumb question but, not knowing how air suspension really works, I will ask anyway...

Could the air suspension in my brand new D4 be softer than others?

When I took mine in to have a fault fixed last year, the replacment one they gave me seemed much much more 'taut' than mine. Less wallowy and more focused - both in a straight line and round corners.

I definitely felt it but thought it was a one off...

However I went to LRE last week and drove another D4 and felt exactly the same thing. When i got back in mine it felt much more wallowy.

Is there some factory setting for the air/or a way to have it tested?

No profile so not sure what model yr you have

The D4 did have suspension changes from MY12 onwards which was tauter and not so soft in its ride which may explain differences felt

Check your air suspension ride height on each wheel. Measure from centre off wheel hub to top of wheel arch. Your ride height may be calibrated to high
