Yes I have a Kaymar bar fitted but no wheel carriers (have the mounts fitted). My reason for buying the bar is to protect the rear end when crawling around in the bush. With both the D3 and my previous D2 I ripped off or had major damage to the plastic skin that is called a rear bumper.
I may fit the carrier in the future but it can be a hassle if you are accessing the rear regularly. It is just as easy to bolt down the spare on the roof rack. 06 TDV6 SE with many LR and after-market extras. Used only on weekends and trips out west.
