Alarm going off due to actuator needing replacing

I have a 2010 disco 4 gs. The alarm keeps randomly going off. I assume it's because the os rear door actuator needs replacing as well as the front ns. Any way to stop the alarm going off until I can replace the parts???

I had the same problem. Lock it from the inside (button on the console) before shutting the door.

It may help to disable the interior light, if the actuator decides the door is open you may end up with a flat battery.

Thank. I did try locking all the doors internally then just using the remote to lock drivers door but went off about an hour later.

Why do you assume it's the doors? I had the same on my 2010 model and it was the bonnet. The simple fix was a wire between the connections and that stopped it. Although that means until it's fixed properly, the bonnet isn't alarmed of course. Unless it is the doors of course.

Regardless it is important that you sort the actuators ASAP, should they lock they may not unlock this makes it a major job to change them particularly the front as it will involve taking the seat out without opening the door Shocked and trashing the door cards.
 It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
