amber roof lights suitable for a D3??

plenty out there but can't seem to find a decent one with suction mount for the glass roof of the D3 - all seem to be magnetic.

Need them for working airside - not permanently wired in, thinking about running the power lead out of the boot 12V socket.

I'm sure someone has this sorted - so any help, links gratefully received Smile

Have you got roof rails? You could fit a cross bar and mount the light on that! Thumbs Up

You can fit a britax magnetic unitvon the metal body work at the rear of the glass & still open the rear door ok. I have a waterproof socket fitted to the shark fin so it just plugs in with a shortened lead. The supply comes from the rear quarter

I don't have a link but do a search on Britax A100.00.LDV & you will find one. Obviously it does sit to one side of the shark fin but it works a treat for my 4x4Response work.
I cut the lead but it will go through the door seal no problem & reach the rear socket I think for a really quick fit. Smile

That sounds really interesting! do you have any photos of it fitted and could you give me an idea of the work involved to set that up ?

I need mine for occasional yard/port use but currently use a connection to the front cigar socket...

Yours sounds an ideal solution !
