AMK compressor getting hot.

Hi all, how hot should the compressor get? Ive been getting the 30mph warning which goes away after switching it off and on again, sometimes for a week, sometimes for 10 mins. Just wondering if its the relay that swotches the compressor on and off. Could this be sticking, over heating the compressor until the 30mph watning comes on?
