But this time, not to do with my Disco, but please indulge me....
My missus has got the tinyest of holes (a very small panel pin) in the sidewall (not the shoulder) of one of her tyres (virtually new!), giving a slow puncture. Two tyre places have told her its not fixable.
Can any of you give me the law on tyre repairs (not hearsay), as its going to be a bl**dy shame to have to scrap a tyre with only just 500 miles on it.

hi alan
it is possible that i may be able to gat a major repair done on it but would have to let the company i use see the tyre. to be honest it probally is scrap if its in the side wall.
what size tyre is it as a major repair is around £18 plus vat

Alan, have you tried taking it back to the fitter, claiming it's faulty and asking them to replace it? Hey, that might even be true
