In effort to counter affect all this green talk I am considering making all my posts in bold white text

This will mean that the computer of EVERYONE who reads my posts will burn slightly more electricity than if the text was black thus countering all this green nonsence

Consider it like using a 100W bulb rather than a 60W one Whistle

Why is displaying white going to use more energy ?

In fact in newer LCD monitors white is actually slightly more energy efficient than black.

So you are actually being a greenist Steve on my computer Thud
