As someone said Canada does get a tad chilly. I was on Exercise there from Germany in the very early 90's.
On the prep phase we were in shorts and T shirt working on the tanks. 3 weeks later the Ex was stopped due to the cold. We ended up being sent to an area to wait our planned return to camp. For the 3 days we were there we had -52 with windchill. Now that is cold. When driving my CVR(T), I drove about a mile with no goggles on. Felt a bit of dirt in my eye, so dropped my seat to remove it. Sat back up to carry on driving and the dirt came back, dropped seat and it went. Only conclusion I came to, the fluid in the corner of my eye was freezing. I wore goggles after that no matter how far I was drivingHONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE

Norway. cold.
Snowhole
4man tent Someone checked the temperature and it was -16 in the tent one night.
Sadly as I had been "toasters" the night before I didn't bother with the jumper on that particularly night. It was so cold that I tucked into a fetus and my boots froze in the bottom of my bivvy bag. Was glad when the sun came up. (-26 outside temp the next morning)

Was a bit nippy here this morning too
And looks like you've broken something with that warning triangle.
Wanted to see if anyone was eagle-eyed and spotted that. Can’t remember the reason it was, but nothing wrong per say, and my response was good enough for DSL LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

It's a Land Rover. Happens all the time. Switch off and back on and it's fixed. 2014 MY Discovery XS Indus Silver. Sadly gone. Second last LR of forty eight years continuous ownership.
