2010 Discovery 4 3.0 SDV6 HSE Auto Aintree Green

Anyone got a Lunar Delta Ti ?

We picked up a second hand 2011 Delta Ti Saturday. Great van but I have a problem with the 10Amp water pump fuse blowing.

I can run from external source OK

I can fill the onboard tank OK

but when I switch to "Int" to run from the internal tank, the 10Amp fuse blows after about 2 seconds.

I'll need to return the caravan to the dealers this week for them to fix, unless it is user error or an easy fix.

sounds like an issue with the internal tank pump. wonder if its seized? Do you hear it start to run before the fuse blows?

I agree with al , if possible disconnect the internal water pump and connect a bulb across it and try it ,if the bulb stays lit the circuit is ok and the pump is suspect

2007 Discovery 3 TDV6 XS Auto Java Black

I have a delta TI 20011 and it does sound like a faulty pump, normally you can just switch to any pump and it will pressurise the system, also if both tanks are full and it is set to outside pump it will auto switch to inside when outside is empty

all sorted and dealer sending a new pump

it just seems a bit crap that the tank is under the caravan. I cant see it working that well up in Scotland in temps of minus 20c !!! the outlet from the pump is not insulated and the tank doesn't seem too well insulated either

Duncan, I hope you have better luck with the Lunar than us.. 2010 model serviced in March and it was dry and we now have readings of 50%+ in the front and it has to go back to the dealers for a whole front end rebuild

We had issues with our Lunar after only 18 months, damp inside with the counter tops de-laminating, very disapointed with the quality and changed it after just 18 months. Pity as the service from Lunar was 1st class MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange
