Advised for rust could be just surface rust. You need to go and look and judge for yourself. It is pricey though. It is 15 years old, so low use.
Have you finished that Series 2 yet Russell? ๐

Thing is assuming it needs the usual things like oil pump and transmission service you're going to be 10k+ into a 56 plate car. I bought my 56 plate SE with only 15k more miles on it last year for 5k less, private sale obviously.
I doubt the warranty you'd get off that seller would be worth anything.

tell your son to run away very fast..... there are far too many red flags around this car and there are plenty of decent honest cars/salesmen out there.
the car may well be genuine and clean
the seller may well be genuine and clean
but when there are red flags around the advert and so many similar red flags around the dealer the run away, or your son might find himself in a badly repaired salvage dangerous wreck2011 D4 XS 305 MY12 - gone but not forgotten

Low mileage likely means infrequent use and many short journeys.
Beware of early signs TC failure, gearbox might already have additive as a temporary fix.
Also, properly serviced it should be on second timing belt (due to age) and should have uprated oil pump.
Seller is likely acting for owner on a commission basis.Chris

I agree that the car is overpriced for the year but don`t think you have the correct (dodgy) dealer as AA cars and AA exclusive motors are 2 different dealers with different addresses and phone numbers!

Hi Gareth
No not fished series, my
wife has been ill and had major op and my son moved house so that has had to take a back seat at the moment but will get going on it again soon. Howโs your one going?
Yes it is expensive but looking round they all seem to be at the minute on the plus side the mileage is low.
Be nice if one came up on here.MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

You are right, followed the wrong link, not enough attention to detail
Company was Incorporated in July this year, not much else to go on.
Total number of owners including the current keeper (since 12/07/2012): 3Chris

Sorry to hear about your wife. Hope sheโs ok, and on the mend. Yes I finished the 88โ. I was very happy with the outcome. It sold at auction for a very decent price. Well worth the money and effort I put into it.
