Revo utilises its own discreet screen mounted DAB antenna, known as RevoWave . This is located along the passenger-side window pillar and offers exceptional DAB signal reception. Revo itself can be positioned in a number of locations inside the vehicle.
3. Signal
Revo is supplied with a discreet windscreen mounted antenna.
If Revo is to be used in areas where DAB reception is marginal, an optional Revo Powered Antenna can be used.
If the vehicle uses an FM bee-sting antenna, you can replace this with Revo's panel mounted Powered FM/AM/DAB Antenna.

Revo Powered Antenna
Revo's powered antenna gives improved DAB reception without having to fit an external antenna. Comes with 2.5m cable to allow the aerial to be fitted to the rear windscreen.

I'd be wary of leaving any antenna stuck to the inside of the windscreen... its an open advertisement for some little scrott to break in and look for whatever its connected to. Only to find its not in the D3 (as you take it out when you park up) but leaving a lovely mess and insurance claim for his efforts.

I had DAB radio in my VW Transporter. I changed the head unit for a top of the range Blaupunkt. I originally used a amplified screen antenna. The reception wasn't very good, so I drilled a hole in the roof and fitted a proper roof bee-sting antenna. DAB then worked very well in virtually everywhere I went around the country.
Therefore, don't expect much from a glass mount antenna, even a powered one. Try to fit an external antenna. Maybe fitting something on the boot lid in the plastic housing that contains the high level brake light. Matt

There's a section of the M6 in north Cumbria where Radio 4 virtually disappears. If I'm listening to something really important, like the Archers......(not), I just retune to Long Wave for a few miles.
I travel the length and breadth of the country and know of nowhere else where normal radio reception is a problem. So I would not bother with DAB unles it was already built-in. The only advantage is the access to some of the digital-only channels and if that's your bag then go for it.
But any add-on device only attracts some scumbag who'll want to relieve you of it - and smash your car up in the process!
As an asid, I've been told that the 'Hybrid TV' which is available as an option on MY07, and which I've ordered, will receive digital TV and Radio. So isn't that the same as DAB? I appreciate, however, that this won't help those with existing vehicles.
