UNDER ATTACK

Was out driving in some rotten weather this week when car was rocked by explosions and ricocheting bullets that had me diving for cover under steering wheel.My son soon came to the rescue dad its only ACORNS landing on the roof No it cant be i replied it must be 1 ton boulders no Acorns.
Now is it just me that is wondering what my roof is made of as that noise had my ears ringing for a couple of minutes ive never heard anything like that in a car before. TONGA GREEN TDV6 S MANUAL

Mine has the alpine roof, so not much metal up top, but even so if a large water drop hits the metal work it sounds awful. It really makes the car sound inferior quality. Matt

I agree - First time it dinged, I thought have those Censored at Solihull forgotten to put the soundproofing in.
