Autel AP200 better than the streetwise OBDII?

I have the streetwise OBDII reader but I saw people recommending the AP200 is this better? Any advice would be appreciated, I have a disco 3 so I'm just wondering if it's has more compatible features.

Cheers,
Sol

The biggest problem with the Autel is getting hold of them! or finding them in stock.

The white one is the best, but discontinued

The white version, (Maxi AP200), looks like it's back.
£47 from autelstore.co.uk. (£69.99 from Amazon).

But i do not see, the answer on the initial question? Cool

I think another question to ask is, what do you additional want with it?

Although a “general” ODBII reader, with “add ons” maybe can give you enough options/features…

If not… (IF NOT). it will only cost you money, since a “full options” device it isn’t

A IID does on the otherhand, and it maybe an option, to spend that money now…

In the end, the resell amount of a IID. is rather high and can be considered as an investment minus the cost of a “general” ODBII reader imho

Just to consider maybe

Harold

So I just looked up a street wise. It's the most basic of ENGINE code readers.
An AP200 white, will read all codes, ABS body, transmission etc. etc.
An Ap200 will program keys, calibrate suspension,

if you can get a white one for under £50 direct from Autel, they are well work having.

A GAP IID is £500 and can change configuration options (CCF) if you add things to your car

Both of these must be used with a smart phone.

That’s brilliant , thank u so much , as I know one of my neighbours was trying to buy one

EDIT

See the link below says it has 19 x modes and specifies key programming ,

https://www.autelsale.co.uk/wholesale/aute...anner.html

NOTE

Please double check small print as would feel terrible is someone ordered the wrong one , mentions available end of April

Tip: ONLY work with phone, CANNOT work with tablet! NOT Support after 2017 Year generally! You can check with MK808 or other tablets instead. Generally the language of AP200 software is the same as the language of your phone system. For the user interface, menus are still in English. If the phone system language cannot be supported by AP200, the diagnostic software will be in English language as default.

They turn up regularly for a lot less, 3xx quid, and you can do a lot more with it than „only“ “if you add things”

But the decision is allready made, i read Wink Thumbs Up

Did anyone order?
I (foolishly, given my previous experience) did on Apr 10th and now, one month later, it is still showing as 'paid' but no shipping info despite the money having been taken on Apr 10th.

Will get Paypal onto it. Sad

2022 Autel AP200

I ordered a white MaxiAP200 a week ago from Autel store.Co.uk (£49) - it arrived yesterday, easily managed to install software, bind (pair) the vehicle to software on iphone without a clue how to do, (ie just following on screen instructions) - somehow I also installed “diag-europe” software as well
as the Autel software, and then read loads of old out of date error & service codes, none of which I really understand yet.

Most importantly there is a “immo keys” function I wanted as I’m keen to reprogram my 3rd key. (I had to order a new key & pay for it & later a spare to be reprogrammed after mislaying it). I’ve bottled out of trying to reprogram it today in case I inadvertently disable all the keys, I’ll try another day when the vehicle’s safely parked at home in case of issues, but just thought I’d let others know the new AP200 does have the key reprogram facility.
