you could try putting ferrite beads on the cables. should cut down the interference.

This sounds promising, as I definitely don't need any audio inputs into the GVIF (like DVD player/TV etc.) if I can continue using my old fashioned aux cable solution for music. I'll take a look......
Also noticed that the buzzing pretty much only comes out of the N/S front door speaker

Okay just tried that, as I happen to have the D3 at work with me today.
I tried switching off each input switch one by one, however none of them stopped the buzzing... But then when I pull out the main A/V In/Out cables it goes blissfully quiet! But then I don't have my reversing camera...   2007 Porsche Boxster (987) 2.7

in this thread ... http://www.disco4.com/forum/topic164527.html ... when DSL found a ferrite bead rolling around under his seat, it turned out to be from his dashcam which came with it to suppress audio interference caused by the dashcam.
gotta be worth trying ?

You must change a dip switch while the power is off and the car is asleep, (park brake light out) or allow the car to sleep after the switch has been changed, it will not have any effect if you don't, but by doing this you are only overcoming another fault. It can when others can't,

Are you getting the buzzing when the aux cable is not plugged in or when it's plugged in to your audio source?
I had the issue when the cable was plugged in to my phone and my phone was charging. It turned out the be a ground loop issue. I solved it but installing a ground loop noise isolator.

It still will buzz a little if the aux cable is unplugged from my phone but that doesn't really bother me.
