B0002 the final straw!!!


My d3 has a fault code of b0002 Crying or Very sad . the machine says drivers frontal stage 2 deployment control. don't know where to start any thoughts? Exclamation

Don't think so. it was intermitent until about a week ago, if you look at the resistance figure for stage 2 it shows 10.2 ohms where as all the others have no resistance or 2.2 ohms. looking at other posts it seems to be a common fault for the spiral to go but that always relates to the stage 1 fault. i wondered if it could be a module fault ( as it was intermitent ) still, if it is the airbag do they have to be coded?

u dont have to code air bags (only module has to be coded)
ur fault may be caused by wire damage just behind the air bag
check them first for any wear and tear and if they are properly routed
in special holders at the back of the air bag
common problem on d3s
