A little update on the D4 journey.
Came out of the house after some heavy rain to find this...
So, parts are ordered!
A new scuttle panel arrived a few days later. The old one was lifting from the screen and had been badly refitted in the past after a windscreen change.

A half-term trip to the New Forest with the caravan in tow was eventful!
Pulled into the Services on the M27 to find a partly flat tyre...
something had ripped into it near the shoulder...
It was pouring with rain but set about changing it out for the spare, only to find that I could get 4 out of the 5 wheel nuts undone. the last one was very swollen with rust.
2-hour wait for the nice guy from Green Flag.
New tyres while away.
Half way through the holiday we were stopped in the middle of the forest for a picnic.
I went to restart the car and the battery just didn't have enough juice left in it to restart the car!
Thankfully we were with some friends who drove off into the nearest village on the hunt for some jump leads.
A quick jump from a very sarcastic friend and all was good. Picked up a new battery later that day and fitted it in the dark back at the camp site.

Latest issue.....
Failing Alternator, diagnosed and replaced by QP Online in Maidstone due to lack of time to do it myself.

Tailgate actuator and tailgate release switch.
And replaced the knackered lower tailgate supports

Handy. I do like them in white. Is that a Prospeed roofrack I spy??
We wasn't going to modify ours......we've since purchase a rack (yet to be fitted) to mount the awning we've had for ages. And an internal roof basket. lol

Indeed it is a prospeed.
I need to go a little careful with the mods as it’s Mel’s daily driver but a few subtle or practicality ones will be alright
