Hi guys and gals.

putting the new unit on and pulled the gear by accident. the locking shaft shot out and the ball bearing has left orbit!

Tried them.
Canโ€™t get through to them. And they are sold out of the kits!

Agree its unlikely to be inch sized , company went metric post mid 1970's. 0.003" clearance is likely to jam with any small debris

Same think happened me. Mind you, I found the ball again 6 weeks later sitting in a place I have no idea how it ever got to. So now I have 10 spare ball bearings....

The size you is want is 6.35mm or 1/4โ€

Same size as Shimano rear cycle hub bearings, maybe your local bike shop will have one handy ๐Ÿ‘
