BAS silicon hoes

ello peeps

just installed IC hope provided by Pete at BAS....

very easy straight forward job takin about 45 min out of this lovely sunny day

some pics to follow:

1. splash cover removed givin almost trouble free access to bottom hose mount:

2. next step is to remove the AF cover along with air filter and two screws securing air duct on top of the radiator cover to get more room around top mount point of IC hose

3. once the hose been released it is easy enough to remove it by just pulling it up through the gap no major headaches.... two new and old on display Wink

4. difference in thickness is quite noticeable just a pity it is not blue on out side!! ;(

5. installing the new hose is the reverse process but make sure you slide the fasteners back and make them loose as new IC hose is bigger in diameter

installed back at the top:

and the bottom:

cheers

Excellent write-up Thumbs Up

You couldn't possibly add a picture or two and a description of how to remove the bottom cover? That's the only bit that is missing from an otherwise fantastic guide Bow down Thumbs Up

bottom cover is attached to the frame with the same kind of clip use on wheel arches! 4 in total, once the clips are removed it basically comes out on its own (almost)

I had to cut the bottom of the left bottom one off (about 1.5 mm of it) to be able to remove it without need to take the sump plate off no stress

cheers
