Base model stereo, steering wheel control upgrade |
|
Having read about the upgrade on this site, I had the buttons added to my steering wheel yesterday by main dealer Marshalls at Lincoln.
Whilst many members have done the work themselves, there was no way I was going to make my own tools and fiddle with airbags .
The part was the usual list price of £36.05+Vat.
The cost of having it done? Now that was the big surprise: £19.55+Vat for the labour. And all done before my complimentary coffee had gone cold (0.2hrs).
Personally I think that's a bargain.
And to report, the switches do illuminate and the up/down search buttons just moves along the radio frequency, not between presets.
