Which Battery Charger to use with a MSV2

Hi All
Can anyone recommend a Battery Charger to use when I am using my MSV2 in the car with the engine off to keep the battery drain down as I keep getting the low battery message with my 8 amp charger in use.
The workshop manual says I need a 50 amp supply, Do I use the chargers boost mode to achieve this and what if the boost mode is greater than 50 amps.

TIA

You need a charger with a Supply mode rating of 20-25amps. Beware that some 25amp chargers have a supply mode that is only rated at 5amps.
In supply mode a smoothed output is provided. The output from a charger without a supply setting is not suitable.
The CTEC MXS25 was the recommended charger but has been superceded. Even so they were still available less than a month ago @ £179 all in. The later model also charges lithium batteries but costs about £70-80 more.
Google CTEC MXS25 or if needed I can provide details of a supplier who might still have some.

Victron blue smart chargers have a decent constant supply if you go for the 30 amp one I think its 10 amps constant at 12 v but a 50 amp 12 volt supply is a big old beastie.
